What we believe.
-
God exists in three persons–Father, Son and Holy Spirit. One God, three persons, one essence.
-
Jesus is our friend, savior, Lord. He is everything. He is our dream. We love him.
We believe the fullness of God is revealed in Jesus Christ. Being both eternal and flesh he was able to conquer death for us. To believe in Jesus is to believe he came through a virgin birth, lived a perfect life, died in our place and rose for our victory over death.
-
We believe the Love of God in Christ Jesus is poured out beyond measure and offered to any who would accept Jesus. We are convinced God’s love can change anyone, heal any situation and change the world.
-
Sin is real and can be difficult to speak about in our modern community. We believe sin entered the picture when man chose to disobey God. It’s what separates us all from our creator.
-
We believe the Bible is true and inspired by the Holy Spirit through the writing of men. We believe it points to Jesus and speaks of a personal God.
-
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit given uniquely to each believer to be used for the building up of the Church. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
-
“The ordinance of Communion is also a commandment of the Lord Jesus that must be received consistently until His return. Only believers can come to the Table of the Lord, which consists of the bread and the cup.”
-
We believe Jesus established the ordinance of Baptism by immersion in water for the new believer. This signifies our unifying with the work of Jesus on the cross, in the grave and to the right hand of God.
(Matthew 28:19)
-
We believe the Church is the bride and body of Christ made of broken and healing people.
